  • A quote can be obtained easily within 24 hours by submitting a request via our 'Contact' section of the website OR feel free to give us a call if you want to chat through your requirements in more detail for an instant quote and more personal approach. We get that its nice to put a voice and a person to the name sometimes!

    The quote is valid indefinitely and fully inclusive for the specific services and event requested for. Additional services can be added and or change of venue but depending on location this may require and updated quotation, as to be expected.

  • Absolutely fine to not know all the details right away! We can give a rough cost with what you have but would save the formal quote for when you have the vital pieces in place, such as date, time, location etc. We would also be more than happy to discuss various options with you. We can do this over the phone or if you are local, meet for a cuppa and a chat with absolutely no obligation to book.

  • Any formal quote from us will include everything you have requested and lots of other smaller services to make sure the live entertainment package you book with us is everything you and or your business/guests could possibly need, to provide a night to remember. Every quote issued by Nic & The Wildhearts includes full time professional and highly experienced musicians covering an electrifying repetoire of rock and roll classics and pop rock anthems, for the standard event timings of 5pm arrival and latest, 1am finish. Should you require and earlier arrival or a later finish, then this will be quoted for as extra hours by the hour as part of the quote or in addition if required post initial contract signature.

  • Yes —absolutely! If you’d like to put your own music on once our PA is set up, between sets and after until 1 am then you can connect an iPhone, iPad or iPod to our equipment. Please note we also include FREE Filler music during these times also as part of our service, so the vibe doesn't drop between sets and theres no awkward silences etc.

  • Simply, yes we can we just have a few stipulations for our and your safety. We would need: A level, stable playing surface in an area that is covered from the elements. Should it rain our equipment needs to be safe! Playing on a grassy heath with no cover in wind is a big health and safety no no!

  • Playing an existing recording for your first dance is already included free of charge but if you wanted the band to learn this and play it live, we would be honoured! We would need to know this at least 3 months in advance.

  • As a rule, no. We are an experienced set of bands that has worked extensively to create the perfect sound tracks to keep you and your guests dancing all night long. However if there is a song or two within the relevant genre that we do not already play then these will be considered at the bands discretion and need 6 months notice please.

  • We have and are covered for up to £10,000,000. We are happy to provide a copy of the certificate should you or your venue need it. All of our equipment is also PAT tested regularly.

  • We include FREE Filler music in all of our quotations during these times , so the vibe doesn't drop between sets and there’s no awkward silences etc. However if you wish to put your own playlists on we can do this also, we just need your music device, such as an iPad, iPhone or iPod etc. We also offer a DJ service for after our live sets finish to keep the party going. this is an additional cost but is discounted when booked with any of our live music packages. The DJ will also take any song requests you or your guests may have on the night.

  • We are more than happy to travel! Any quote provided is inclusive of any travel. Many of us have played across Europe and beyond, so if you are planning a resort wedding abroad or an international corporate retreat we would be more than happy to provide bespoke quotes for your requirements. Similarly to our UK quotes they will include like for like services.

  • Music is subjective, and as such, a very personal choice. It is also one of the most expensive items on your event checklist! That’s why, when you book with Live Music North Ltd for your event you will get a personal, professional music service from start to finish, not just a band you speak to once and then meet 6 months later on the day of your event.

    We will NEVER cancel—it just isn't in our vocabulary. Your event is safe with us. On the occasion one of our band members falls ill, we have a bank of dedicated, tried and trusted dep musicians that know our rep as well as our full time team, that will step in whenever needed.

    We will always be ON TIME—Lateness just isn't acceptable for a professional musician. We guarantee that our getting in, set up and getting out will be on time and as smooth as we can possibly control for you.

    Our musicians will always be smart, professional and respectable. Musicians will arrive and work in smart black clothing until its time to play, they will be well groomed, polite and professional at all times. None of the band, DJ or engineers will drink alcohol at your event, after all we are working!
